Facial yoga poses for the bride-to-be

New Delhi: Yoga is always a great choice for the body, whether it is for toning your body or for glowing skin, yoga is the way to go! The yoga asanas that we are about to tell you will benefit your body, mind and soul so that you will feel radiant on your wedding day. Here are a few you can try:

Kiss and smile

Push your lips together as much as you can, as if you’re about to kiss, then smile broadly. Do at least 15 repetitions a day. This exercise acts simultaneously on the cheeks and the chin.

Benefit from: When you use these muscles often and in a specific way, it can improve the downward drift to a youthful jawline and red cheeks.

Puff up your cheeks

Inhale through your mouth and relax the breath from cheek to cheek, then release.

Benefit from: These quick and easy movements will strengthen the cheek muscles and prevent them from appearing hollow. Do this exercise regularly for lifted, plump cheeks.

Sing ‘Om’ with a smile

Singing “Om” calms the mind and relaxes the muscles of the face. This yoga exercise is the easiest of all facial yoga poses. Close your eyes and smile lightly, visualizing the point between your eyebrows as a place of balance. Since most people frown unconsciously, repeated grimacing can form wrinkles.

Benefit from: This pose will help compensate for those lines and give the skin a glow from within.

Lift your eyebrows

Place the index finger of each hand, half an inch above the eyebrows. Try to lift the eyebrows upwards, while pressing them down with your fingers. Repeat this 10 to 12 times a day.

Benefit from: Since our forehead is the first place for the appearance of wrinkles, you can tone these muscles, release tension and reduce the appearance of wrinkles by performing this specific exercise.

Make a fish face

Suck in the inside of your cheeks, almost like you’re making a fish’s face. Hold for a few seconds, keeping your eyes wide open. If your eyes start to weep, it means the period in which you can hold this pose. Then you can blink and release the pose.
